I use High –Mid-Low arranges firing in verity of clays with my sculptural and functional work. I hand build-wheel throw-slip cast the body and carving also inlaying to add the details. I decide which clay I use and how to form them after designing process through the drawing.
Some designs become better with hand building, or wheel throwing or slip casting. I specialized in slip casting in my university practice, but I do like to use wheel as well as hand building. I like to use inlaying and carving a lot. I do use my own designs of geometry patterns most of times and drawing onto my work to make them one and only in this world.

Jooyun Lim, originally from Seoul, Korea, moved to Australia a decade ago after completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramic Arts. Inspired by the tranquility of rural Queensland, she finds motivation in the natural surroundings, away from the competitiveness of her homeland. Recently, she garnered acclaim for her work, including winning prizes at the Brunswick Street Gallery Small Works Art Prize 2024 and a local art competition in Stanthorpe, has been a finalist QRAA, as well as holding 2 solo exhibitions in Vic.
