Sean Gordon, originally from Scotland, is a self-taught ceramic artist known for his handbuilt bird-themed ceramics. His journey of self-discovery and artistic exploration has been influenced by his mother, a talented potter, who instilled in him a love for ceramics. Settled in Australia for its diverse birdlife, Sean is constantly inspired and in awe of the colorful avian species around him.

Much of Sean's creativity comes from the three parrots he lives with, influencing his work with their vibrant colors and playful nature. From his in-home studio, he carefully creates each piece, aiming to capture the essence of these enchanting creatures with authenticity and humour. Sean's ceramics blend elegance and playfulness and are crafted to evoke joy and curiosity, inviting viewers to explore the fascinating world of birdlife through functional and decorative pieces filled with character.
